How to Celebrate the Fourth of July Near 1213 Walnut in Philly
June 21, 2022There’s just no better place to celebrate America’s birthday than in the city where it all began. This Fourth of July, Philadelphia is hosting a full day celebration starting the biggest parade in the city and it’s all just outside your door at 1213 Walnut.
Salute To America Independence Day Parade
This Fourth of July from 11 a.m. to noon, Philadelphia’s Salute to America Independence Day Parade returns! Featuring a flurry of red, white and blue floats, U.S. Military units, marching bands, cultural groups and Miss America 2022 Emma Broyles as the grand marshal. The parade will begin at 2nd and Market streets,traveling down Market and ending at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Learn more about the parade route.
Party On The Parkway
After the parade, be sure to head over to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway between noon and 7 p.m. for the return of Philly’s Party On The Parkway. With three performance stages, featuring Pennsylvania Lottery Groove Stage, Chill Moody Music Stage and the Rumba 106.1 Dance Party, the day-long party is set to be packed with entertainment, games, food trucks and more. Wawa Welcome America July 4th Concert
Beginning at 7 p.m. Philadelphia’s day-long Fourth of July celebration culminates with a star studded concert on the Parkway with performances by Jason Derulo and Ava Max, followed by a fireworks display synced to DJ Ghost and Q102 music.
